Klinik Gut. The name is synonymous with superior medical treatment in St. Moritz and Fläsch. With a focus on orthopaedics and traumatology, the clinic is renowned for its outstanding professional expertise. Both facilities operate to the same high-quality standards. To ensure this, we stay at the cutting-edge of international science and utilise renowned forms of treatment and therapy. Always ensuring that the respective treatment fits the individual needs of the patient.
The clinic is private, market-oriented, and independent. We do not compromise: Due to the facility’s structure and manageable size, the clinic is able to fully meet patients’ needs and to enjoy a friendly working environment.
Personnel as at 31 December 2019: 229 employees, including management and physicians.
Klinik Gut AG is a corporation and is owned by physicians working at the clinic and members of the Board of Directors. This circumstance is a guarantee that the interests of the shareholders coincide with those of the key medical personnel of the clinic.
Klinik Gut is a private clinic in Grisons for residents as well as visitors to the region. The medical services include the treatment of sports injuries/traumatology and orthopaedic surgery. Klinik Gut is the only emergency care private clinic in the canton of Grisons.
Specialized departments of Klinik Gut are shoulder and elbow surgery as well as hip- and knee surgery. Our specialists also cover spinal column surgery, hand- and foot surgery, general surgery, and sports medicine. We treat patients at the St. Moritz and Fläsch clinics and make sure that our patients don’t have to travel too far for their follow-up treatments: with the other Gut-offices at the Airport Medical Centre at Zurich Airport, Ascona, Chur, and Buchs.
We are committed to providing what is expected of a clinic at the highest level: excellent quality. As a result, we are continuously re-evaluate our work and standards. Key indicators are systematic quality measurements (national measurement plan for emergency patient treatment), patient and employee satisfaction surveys, complaint management, and clinical risk management (CIRS). In quality management, we adhere to the EFQM excellence model.
The clinic operates based on the highest quality standards and has received several awards.
In 2021, the Swiss Institute for Postgraduate Medical Training (SIWF) has once again recognised Klinik Gut as an official centre for postgraduate medical training in the field of orthopaedic and trauma surgery of the musculoskeletal system.
Swiss Olympic awards the label “Sports Medical Base approved by Swiss Olympic” only to institutions, whose employees are involved in the support of Swiss junior high-performance athletes as well as high-performance athletes by ensuring sports medical as well as physiotherapeutic support during training and competitions as members of a medical team.
Together with go:h - Gelenkchirurgie Hannover and the Orthopädische Praxisklinik Neuss we form a quality circle. Through the exchange of experience and joint projects, synergies are created, which we directly use for our institution. Thus, we are continually improving workflows and patient care. For your health’s sake.
The medical institutes go:h (Gelenkchirurgie Hannover, Germany, www.g-o-hannover.de), Klinik Gut (St. Moritz, CH, www.klinik-gut.ch) and OPN (Orthopädische Praxisklinik Neuss, D, www.opn-neuss.de) have the goal of achieving better results for their patients than general hospitals. We achieve this through highly trained medical expertise combined with highly specialised workflows in our facilities. To establish a further building block in the continuous improvement process of our institutes through the exchange of experiences, we have decided to cooperate in a quality circle on all quality-relevant levels. This collaboration includes medical case conferences, management meetings, mutual visits, and mutual support for general and specific medical, hygienic, economical, and organisational issues.
Achieving optimal treatment results for patients is not only the result of a successful physician-patient interaction. Many other factors also play a decisive role here. For example, physicians and patients are involved in a highly complex, multi-layered structure in which complicated processes occur, especially in operative treatments. If all the gears are not in perfect tune with each other, the operating result are in jeopardy. Competence, empathy, and the commitment of medical and non-medical staff, technical equipment and furnishing, hygiene, and quality management as well as the company's financial resources and the management of the listed factors, are key factors for the medical success.
Seize opportunities. Strengthen health.
The clinic has an extensive network of partners and organisations in the fields of medicine, health care, and sports. We cultivate and have lived this for years, so impulses and commitment work where they belong: in the region.

We explicitly inform the person concerned about this legal and factual situation in order to make an informed decision regarding the consent to the use of their data. For users residing in EU Member States, please note that, from the point of view of the European Union, the US does not have sufficient data protection levels due to, among other things, the issues mentioned in this section.
