Support on the ward
During the daily check-ups from the doctors and care staff, you are given extensive information on the results of your treatment as well as any follow-up procedures that may be required. Use this chance to communicate with the doctors and care staff. You can agree information appointments with the your closest relatives and your doctor with your allocated staff member.
Cuisine
We have an outstanding individual kitchen at our disposal, which helps to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Our chefs, Stefano Pini and Daniele Del Grosso, visit the patients every day, to find out how they are feeling and what they would like.
Clinic office
Use the time during your stay to recover from your surgical procedure. An Internet connection via W-LAN is possible in every patient room so that you can keep up to date in your professional and private life. In the central reception in the foyer, you can have you patient telephone activated for the duration of your stay.
What to take
Please bring comfortable clothing and firm, flat footwear (e.g. trainers) with you for your inpatient stay. Tracksuit trousers that open at the sides are a possible option for knee patients. We recommend that shoulder patients wear broad tops as these can be worn over the abduction ortheses.
Central reception
After you have arrived, please report to the patient reception desk that is clearly visible in the entrance hall. You will be given all further information here. If require, an accompaniment service and You will be greeted at reception by the staff member who will be responsible for you during your stay.
Inpatient admission
On the ward, you will be brought to your room by a member of staff and shown the fittings and operating systems.
You luggage will be taken to your room by our ward staff.
Preparation for a surgical procedure
Before every surgical procedure, an extensive informative discussion takes place with the operating surgeon and an anaesthetist. On agreement, you will be given a tranquilliser before surgery.
Hotel service
Our hotel staff tend to the well-being of our guests beyond medicinal care. They offer support as personal contact people. They will ask you how you are doing during the course of your recovery and fulfil your wishes.
